My story is featured in the new movie, “The Gift of Life.” I attended the World Premiere at the Hoyt Sherman Place theatre in Des Moines, Iowa on December 15.
Governor Huckabee hosted the event. Michelle Bachman, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Rick Perry addressed the 1200 people in attendance before the showing of the movie. Speaker Gingrich was the only candidate that stayed and sat in the audience to view the premiere.
The night was truly blessed and continues to show us how God is still using the picture.

I am from China. My boy is 4 yr old with Mylomeningocele (type of SB), I refused abortion, I also looked for fetus surgery before he was born, however China not offer this. We already had two surgeries, but identified we need a 3rd one. I really wish this can become the last surgery.

While we all are familiar with this photograph, I didn’t know the full story until a friend told me about you this morning. You were kind enough to send her two 8×10 photos of that remarkable event some years ago.
My friend and I were talking because another hero, Senator Pence, has, after being voted down two years in a row, made progress in efforts to defund Planned Parenthood permanently after numerous videos surfaced over several years showing would-be pimps securing promises of on-call abortion from clinicians for their underage prostitutes, (often illegals). LiveAction.org has information to help each citizen counteract this taxpayer funded enterprise.
